01Purpose
Eatix – Food Scanner estimates calories, protein, carbs, fat and a food quality score from photos, barcodes, labels and descriptions. Treat every figure as approximate general information. Not medical, nutritional or dietary advice.
02Medical status
Eatix does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease. It replaces no doctor, registered dietitian or other qualified professional.
03Accuracy
- Photo recognition misjudges ingredients and portions at times and cannot see hidden oil, sugar or sauce.
- Databases and labels go out of date or contain errors. A barcode can map to another version of the product.
- Voice input can be misheard.
Check each result. Correct it when it looks off.
04Allergies and diets
Allergy and diet alerts rely on recognition and product data and can miss an ingredient. Read the package label every time. With a food allergy, never let Eatix decide whether a food is safe. In an allergic emergency, call local emergency services.
05Targets and forecasts
Calorie and macro targets, BMI and goal dates come from general formulas and questionnaire answers. Medical history is not considered. See a doctor before a major diet or weight change — especially during pregnancy or breastfeeding, under age 18, with diabetes, kidney or heart disease, on regular medication, or with a current or past eating disorder.
06Food score
The 1–10 score compresses a meal or product into one number. It is not a health assessment.
07Enhanced photos
AI Private Cleaner App enhances photos with a machine learning model. Added detail is a model estimate and can differ from the real scene.
